About

This apartment is connected to my main home here in Eastpoint, FL: The Gateway to SGI! It is situated in the center of Franklin County which makes it an ideal spot to visit Apalachicola, St. George Island, or Carrabelle. This property is located 6 miles from the main public beach on SGI, almost a straight shot across the bridge. I am happy to welcome all guests to my own little Taradise on "The Forgotten Coast"!

Good to know

This apartment shares a conjoining brick wall with my home. There are doors on my side and the apartment side that lock from both sides. It has a private entrance, but does share power, air conditioning and water with my home.

Tara's Place was amazing. I had not such a great encounter with another air b and b and I Had to scramble to get a new place to stay. She was so accommodating and worked with us the entire way and at the same time was very respectful of our privacy. it was a beautiful, comfy, safe home and I hope to be able to visit again.

I had a fantastic stay at Tara’s place! She was incredibly friendly and proactive, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and offering great local restaurant recommendations. The Airbnb itself was spotless—everything from the bathroom and kitchen to the linens and towels was squeaky clean. It was also quiet, cozy, and the perfect place to relax. The location is great, close to the water and just a short drive to Apalachicola, Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe, and Mash Sands. I highly recommend staying here, and I’ll definitely be back! In fact, we’re already making plans to return this summer.
